Program Overview

Mercy Air operates as the main provider for California’s and Nevada’s air emergency medical services needs. As the areas' leading rotor wing air medical transportation company, Mercy Air is able to provide communities with high-quality intensive/critical medical care. Emergency transport is provided based on medical necessity as determined by hospital staff, EMS agencies, law enforcement agencies, and industrial safety personnel. Additionally, through a contract with American Medical Response (AMR) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), we are able to provide air ambulance services in response to disaster situations.
